I don't know if this is a hot take or not, but Gmail's Spam Filtering is a massive MOAT for them. I have not found an email client that does nearly as good a job.

I switched to apple mail over a year ago now and I was shocked at how bad it is. Especially for false positives, I have to check my junk folder manually because I get real emails stuck in there almost daily

+1. I worked very closely with the GMail spam & abuse team and they’ve built something fantastic

They’ve been sneaking through recently. It’s been surprising.
