Never thought I would say this in the age of screen time parenting. Realized tonight that I much prefer my kids playing video games together in the same room than them playing ANY game online. It is actually social in a way no online game can possibly be.

Was just talking to my son about this. My friends would all go to the house of the kid who had the best new game on Super Nintendo and take turns playing each other while everyone else watched and cheered.
