Y'all, Frames V2 are really hard. Especially if you're not using Next.js. Is @stevedylandev.eth the expert at non-Next Frames V2 at this point?

I did spin up this minimal react + typescript + vite example in the frames repo that I want to add to

Yeah I was using this, but there's a bunch of extra stuff in there. I don't need wagmi or wallets at all for my frame, so this makes parsing the example much harder. 

Also, generating the farcaster.json is super confusing and difficult. Steve's guide is really helpful though. 

I don't know the solution, but it is taking longer to make my app a frame than it took to build my app.

Is the manifest only required for notifications and webhooks?

re generating the farcaster.json, are you using the developer tool available on mobile or trying to do this yourself?
