The vibes are worsening here lately.

I don’t mean the spammy newcomers. I’m talking about some of y’all. 🫵

Numbers we each value differently are rapidly going up. Social metrics, portfolio values, DAUs, etc.

It’s exciting but some of us are turning into the Twitter influencers we once vocally rejected.

Can you point to some examples? Maybe even from me if there are any? I see a lot of bad experiences tied to the like and recast crowd but from most of the people who have been here it seems like genuine experimentation.

This has nothing to do with frames and new features coming out. Experimenting is great and will naturally spawn some harmful ideas sometimes.

It’s more so the narratives some folks are spinning up to personally profit from fomo; i.e. influencer type behavior
