How do you suggest people manage IPFS infra and availability? Just start small with it running on a raspberry Pi or something more complex?

you can always rent a vps for like $20/month and host an ipfs node there (this is what we do with github.com/BigWhaleLabs/obss-ipfs-uploader)

later on, community can pin the files from your node on their own ipfs nodes
