Meet Olena Speakingtomato @speakingtomato, an internationally exhibited artist and collector who was born in Lithuania, grew up in Ukraine, and is currently settled in Turkey. She is a former photographer with 15 years of experience shooting especially camera portraits who changed her professional path in 2022 to become an AI artist, creating dreamlike scenes and surreal images full of meaningful details that reflect the author's life and dream stories. Olena had a long background as a portrait photographer but became interested in AI art following a period of immobility caused by surgery. During this time, she had the opportunity to learn about AI technology, which piqued her interest and inspired her to try her hand at creating art with these cutting-edge tools. Since then, she has been creating figurative art that combines modernism, surrealism, and symbolism: ‘The process of transitioning from traditional photography to AI art has been both challenging and rewarding. While I miss the tactile experience of working with a camera, I have found that the endless possibilities of AI art have opened up new avenues for creative expression’
