Is this gonna be another (W3C) "semantic web" unrealised vision thing, ya think?

My sense (and I'm not deep in my understanding yet) is that this is a bit of a conceptual overlay to no specific implementation of anything.  I'm thinking of playing around with EAS and structuring DIDs on attestations there...(as a "learning larp")...but you've no doubt gone deeper into this @eulerlagrange.eth and know shit I haven't got dirty with yet!
