I don't think your approach comes across as flighty, but I appreciate your framing as it helps give me a better sense of perspective. "Concept stewardship" is a nice way to frame what I do. 

There's room for many approaches, of course. I see your work and mine as complementary. May 1000 slowcore patterns bloom.
