How do you know what you like? That's a really good question, something that I often wonder myself too. And the answer is pretty simple, you just kinda know. I kinda know when I don't like it too. I don't often know why I don't quite like it, or why I love it so much. I guess the answer is - when you know, you know

I often think film criticism (and music, books, etc) comes down to the critic kinda liking or kinda not liking something then coming up with reasons why. Personally, explaining why I donβt like something is usually much easier than explaining why I do.
