理想意义的 DAO 不存在，似乎隐含着世界（组织内）大同的理想

I recently discussed governance issues with my onchain peers and gained this:

We should embrace a public-serving spirit without occupying "public" positions (bureaucracy), as there is no true "center" of authority. It's similar to designing a monetary system that functions autonomously without central backing. One key concept is "market as a gun to your head."

Drawing a parallel to Bitcoin, what's broadcast isn't just transaction data, but also ideas and culture. Through cross-validation mechanisms, these cultural elements reach every node, empowering them - just as Bitcoin's decentralized consensus enables trustless verification while maintaining system integrity without centralized control.

If structure is not collaboratively and explicitly formalized, it nevertheless emerges, but in a opaque fashion and to the benefit of few and detriment of the community at large.

I dare say most of the talented people we admired in the Nouns ecosystem are not here today, not because they were discouraged by excessive processes, but because the lack thereof caused conflict, bad decisions and abuse.

I myself took a "sabbatical" from Nouns because of how frustrating is was to watch all the contradictions in governance, the same mistakes over and over again, the same people getting huge payouts from the DAO with little to show for it.

All that talent who got paid waaaay above the market rate is not here today. We need contributors with values alignment whose main incentive is not the comp.

The allergy to structure has done more harm than good.
Decentralization doesn't have to mean disorganization.

Over the past few years, terms like creator, curator, KOL, influencer, and builder seem to have been corrupted. They were supposed to refer to people who create beautiful things, but this meaning has been greatly diluted. 
Mindlessly copying, thoughtlessly producing, or even using AI to generate content - all these behaviors get labeled as "creation." What's worse is that this output is meant to grab some easy money, and it often succeeds.

After I changed my Bio to "nerd," I heard a friend saying that if you want to be a nerd, you're just looking for privilege, especially in crypto.

But originally I just felt that many things weren't interesting anymore, so I might as well quietly read books, fully engage with them, and enjoy myself peacefully.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

one interesting thing to try is optimistic accountability, eg authorize a set of trusted contributors to optimistically trigger accountability measures (eg pause stream) that the project can then appeal to a council or even the broader DAO

adding more granular options, like @rafa suggests, in addition to full cancellation may be a good idea too

This seems to be a cultural guidance issue. When technology can't guarantee an accountability environment and the community has ambivalent attitudes about whether accountability is needed, we need to cultivate a healthy atmosphere of mutual supervision.
