When chatting with friends on FC, it takes me 1-3 days from seeing their message to replying. But that's actually great, because our conversations contain high-quality thinking and a genuine dedication to things that matter - something rare in today's increasingly nihilistic crypto world where people think nothing's worth taking seriously. This is what I treasure most about FC.

So to friends who direct cast with me: if you see I've read your message but haven't responded, it's because I'm thinking - and I think slowly. Thanks for understanding. Let's enjoy this slower pace where we can take things seriously.

I wish the read receipts in DC could be disabled, would save people from some awkward situations.
