The interview question I find most enlightening is: “What core values guide your decisions, and what's an example of a time they were strained?” “How did you navigate that tension?” Silence is the most revealing answer.

Great question. For me, i would say totally believe in openness and collaboration - but in a world where everything is a secret and commanded from top down it is challenged every year i am a founder - from hiring (does every team member should have a vote?) to dealflow (if we share it internal, will it leak?) etc.
