Data availability. Underdeveloped, but not at rest.
In our latest article we explore the evolution of data on the Internet, born during the Cold War era, and under constant attack today. https://piertwo.com/research/the-third-dimension-long-term-data-availability
From public libraries, to the public Internet, to public blockchains. We have been trending towards data that respects confidentiality, and importantly remains immutable, unlocking data integrity. That does not immediately give us data availability. Or secure it over a long time horizon.
The opportunity to address data availability on /ethereum is not underserved. To date, we've seen @celestia, /eigenlayer and Chainlink as prominent names. And there is a great deal more that can be done.
We explore @covalent-hq, the Ethereum Wayback Machine, and the effort to archive all Ethereum data. 0 reply
