Please beware that as power badges officially sunset, the spam machine learning is getting more intense. Do not change your behavior for moxie. Be you. Be authentic. Once you are marked as spam, youโ€™ll get zero moxie. Donโ€™t ruin your account chasing something.

I actually find myself changing my behavior in the other direction, hesitating to interact with large accounts where normally I would voice an opinion or make a quip or witty comment, in hopes of striking up a convo. Donโ€™t get me wrong, Iโ€™ve carved out a nice community here on FC, but thereโ€™s not denying that it can be real tough to break in with the โ€œestablishmentโ€.

That last sentence is very true pichi, many of my friends have already received spam labels and they are completely invisible to other people :( But until now I don't understand why they get a spam label, what is assessed when someone gets a spam label Is this because it behaves like a bot? or replying too much

We also gotta be able to call out Spam machine when it gets it wrong. Sometimes there are users that jut get labeled Spam despite doing absolutely nothing wrong. It'd be nice if there was an official review process or rebuttal system. If DAU retention is a key goal, then User support for such issues needs a ramp up. Not a "don't like it, move on" or "make a new account" approach.

I noticed the spam filter is getting much more aggresive, nowadays around 100-200 users are added every day to the list.

Shouldnโ€™t there be some kinda guide on what makes a spammer? ๐Ÿ“‘ Weโ€™ve got no clue what AIโ€™s learning to throw that label around. What if the AI goes off the rails? Like, it might flag someone just having fun with Money gun๐Ÿ”ซ or Ham cannon๐Ÿ’ฃ as a spammer.

Do you know when power badges are officially sunsetting? I know they are invisible on WC, but still really exist. I'm wondering how they will deal with the ability to upload video after the PB's are gone. I believe that gives someone the ability to post video. Will it be available to everyone then or by some other criteria?

Ohh tyty a really good information frfr because I saw one strange thing is that if I post something in memes channel and people will like it but only few of them farcaster shows me if I go to the wild man then I can see how many people like my messages may be these guys marked as spammer that's why farcaster don't show these guys like to the casts ๐Ÿค”

I have found that somehow the filters are even starting to hit me again and I honestly haven't changed my behavior tho folx who have chatted and we follow each other sometimes don't see me. Others who I just try to engage with who don't follow me may not see me at all.

As a marked spammer, I earn moxie but obviously not a lot since Iโ€™m not visible for people outside my network. I like moxie and earning a little or even non is ok for me. The point of being invisible for people outside my network is stinging and bothering me the most.
