Moxie is awesome. I’m a /moxiemaxi and I love that everyone can get some rewards for their natural behavior. Please beware that as power badges officially sunset, the spam machine learning is getting more intense. Do not change your behavior for moxie. Be you. Be authentic. Once you are marked as spam, you’ll get zero moxie. Don’t ruin your account chasing something.

I actually find myself changing my behavior in the other direction, hesitating to interact with large accounts where normally I would voice an opinion or make a quip or witty comment, in hopes of striking up a convo. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve carved out a nice community here on FC, but there’s not denying that it can be real tough to break in with the “establishment”.

We also gotta be able to call out Spam machine when it gets it wrong. Sometimes there are users that jut get labeled Spam despite doing absolutely nothing wrong. It'd be nice if there was an official review process or rebuttal system. If DAU retention is a key goal, then User support for such issues needs a ramp up. Not a "don't like it, move on" or "make a new account" approach.

That last sentence is very true pichi, many of my friends have already received spam labels and they are completely invisible to other people :( But until now I don't understand why they get a spam label, what is assessed when someone gets a spam label Is this because it behaves like a bot? or replying too much

Do you know when power badges are officially sunsetting? I know they are invisible on WC, but still really exist. I'm wondering how they will deal with the ability to upload video after the PB's are gone. I believe that gives someone the ability to post video. Will it be available to everyone then or by some other criteria?

Shouldn’t there be some kinda guide on what makes a spammer? 📑 We’ve got no clue what AI’s learning to throw that label around. What if the AI goes off the rails? Like, it might flag someone just having fun with Money gun🔫 or Ham cannon💣 as a spammer.

The spamming filter is needed, we know that since the launch of Moxie, at least 50% users reacting to your cast are bots, thats why it need to be filtered. Everyone loves Moxie, I mean who doesn't? Its new, it has potential, and the fact that our reactions are actually giving out moxie to other users is making it even more attractive than any other token on farcaster.

I hate this approach! The response of farcaster is LABEL AS SPAM! They can't just ignore or mute people, all they do is drive people away from the platform! Same as degen, they feel uncomfortable and shadowbanned almost the entire platform just because a group did not liked to see interactions, now look at the results, this place is a group chat, not a social media.
