I’m not sure I agree with the correlation

I don’t like working with people who are just there to collect a paycheck 

But I respect a work life integration

People that define themselves by their work end up being extremely rigid in their thinking, proportional to how long they have been doing that. It is a "rut accelerator" since they become so emotionally invested in their work life. People with hobbies can let shit go, and move on.
