this is a common question so I want to address it. one of the challenges in trying to do something new is that people struggle to reach for analogies. the dao was designed to complete a roadmap by minting an onchain collection across 10 cities over three years. we accomplished that goal in april & have been thinking deeply about how to gracefully transition to the next phase. it’s natural to want to keep a good thing going, but there is also something to be said about sticking to the original vision & not squeezing an idea until there is no more juice left. recently, we’ve made some great behind the scenes progress towards a structure that allows us to continue supporting the collections indefinitely while also freeing up time and capital to build on new ideas. best of all, I think we can do it in a cryptonative way that puts citizens @ the center. there is still work to be done but I’m feeling really optimistic abt our future as a networked community & the impact we’ll have in the years to come.

I think it’s a smart and thoughtful decision that shows the balance between honoring an original vision and adapting for sustainable growth This kind of intentional evolution sets a solid foundation for impactful growth in the future. Looking forward to what’s next for bright moments 🙌
