I have a much greater appreciation for the complexity behind good search, and how much work goes into trying to understand a user's intent from very little information. Two different users could search for the same thing and expect different results. There's also a lot of expectation built in to how search syntax should work too. Every search engine is different, but users have built muscle memory around how to search, and expect every engine to behave similarly. LLMs have also complicated this now because people are getting more used to speaking in natural language to their computers, so the surface area of what a user expects to work is getting bigger every day.
