WHY WE BUILT VIEW.ART view.art is created by the team behind /bright-moments, an onchain art collective that works with generative & AI artists to create real-world experiences of their works. Starting in 2021, we began writing software to support our growing number of shows in Venice Beach. As the industry grew, our demands for the viewing experience did too. If people were going to take onchain art seriously, it needed to be showcased with the same care that we have come to expect from museums. This led us to build systems that enabled people to interact with the art, something missing from traditional galleries. Instead of coming to a show to see work that had already been created, people attended our events to help create the art themselves via live minting. For the first time, we're making the same technology used to power our exhibitions available to the public. We believe that a tool like view.art is necessary to appreciate the onchain art that is being created every day. We hope you like it.

Thanks for sharing the backstory behind it. After buying 'Venice', I have been very intrigued by how the site displays the art and routinely have it up on 1 of my 3 browser windows.

It's a great example for everything start with a dream , love the story behind how view.art starts . I enjoy art how I look , and it make it onchain and make a network with people with same insight of view in arts . Admirable enough, specifically when see your dedication to make it more brilliant ...🫡

It was a great idea in the first place. Interactive art is promising for the future with this. Mean while I guess it could take some time to take place in real word yet i have faith but good things take time.

I recently read a quote that said change starts with your thoughts, and your post made me realize how true this is. Shifting our perspective can transform our lives and uncover new possibilities, opening doors to infinite opportunities. I used to think of on-chain art as something to enjoy comfortably at home, but your efforts and vision to elevate its value have truly impressed me. I’ll always be rooting for you and your innovative work

i do love how you can go to view.art and click through collections from each artist and platform seamlessly. (I would like the ability to keep it in the same window vs. opening a new one, but that is my personal preference as I end up with too many open windows)

That sounds dope! What do you mean by “create the art themselves”? The pieces are created by users or did that only mean minting the artwork?

That's cool! Creating art together during events adds a whole new level of connection to the experience by promoting interaction between people. Real question tho, will It be exciting to see how view.art will change the game in the digital art world?

I think the naming 'View Art,' the website address 'view.art,' and the logo (with the dot represented as an eye) are all well done. 👍
