Still seeing lots of people not using wrist straps to workout their back. If that's you, how do you manage? Feels like I can lift much heavier with straps than without

I only use them when my grip is failing, its usually after dumbell sets and moving to lat pulldowns. single and two arm cable rows seem to be ok, I can get in 10 reps with proper form without my grip failing. Might be the climber in me. Never liked straps, I use Cobra grips. Anyone using a version with "hooks"?

I agree. For me grip strength has always been the first thing to go out when doing back so I love using straps

this boggles my mind. People would rather nerf themselves than actually build the muscles that they're trying to target with a lift.

Are you referring to deadlifts? If so, try using a hook grip. Won’t give you as much of a boost as straps, but hook grip + chalk are great to experiment with.
