Looking forward to the day when paying with crypto is ubiquitous

I onboarded a new business to crypto today (first time!)- paid the second half of my bill in USDC on @base 

Now this hotel in Panama accepts crypto :)

I had them download Coinbase and Coinbase wallet

Yep- with the owner 

Gave them a crash course on crypto, security, currencies, networks, tokens, Stablecoins, etc 

It was a lot to cover even trying to keep it bare minimum

That's crazy! Did you get them the wallet on a phone? Were you talking with a manager, owner?

Kept it as simple as possible- got them on Coinbase and Coinbase wallet

Taught them about security, importance of their keys, all the gotchas with L1/L2, tokens, different networks etc 

Said they should mainly just ask people to send them USDC

I’m very curious to hear about this experience and how you got them setup.

(while traveling through the Philippines in January I got a chance to use stables app a lot but the businesses didn’t even realize I was paying in crypto)
