Prop House was a fantastic tool for onboarding new members to the Nouns community. It allowed for small proposals with funding between $100-$3000 to be executed with high quality. This approach paved the way for bringing larger proposals to the DAO, backed by on-chain proof of work. Without PH, it feels like a crucial link in the chain is missing. Should onboarding be through subcommunities? We have our own version at Nouns.GG/rounds now, but I think we're missing a small grant opportunity for the greater DAO. Is anyone working on this?

Uplink from @nickd is a good option — we’ll be using this for /builder

100% agree. Rounds is great for exposure and engagement but not the same as Prop House for small grants. I think something like that is very much needed

Sometimes, I wonder if Prop House itself costs was more than the funds it distributes. In the end, it’s been underused due to user experience issues. 🤔

joke.race is another option. Excited to check out uplink’s support for this too, didn’t realize you could use it that way until seeing other’s comments

I actually prefer @rounds - easy onboarding and incentives to build in public. Can solve the low viz we have for most props

Such a terrible idea to get rid of prophouse. Lost a large audience that does not use this app. On top of it, there's many issues with funding through rounds, but that's a different discussion. As someone that posted numerous rounds in prophouse, I was sad to see it go. I doubt I would use rounds to fund any initiatives.

What if there were prizes? What would it look like to use prizes in addition to proposals?

agreed even though i love what @rounds have done, its true that onboarding new members was easier to explain with Prop House IMO
