Eigenlayer now allows restaking of any ERC-20 token. This is a game changer for stablecoins

You can restake your USDT, that'll serve as a security to AVSes. If you mint a liquid token (LRT), it can be used as liquidity in that AVS

This effect unifies the security and liquidity. Imagine a cross-chain DEX AVS, that is secured by USDT and that is in turn a stablecoin liquidity pool that earns revenue from cross-chain trading. 

Until today we've had capital inefficiency because capital had to be either in security or liquidity, but now it's all in one place. 

Money legos allow even wilder schemes, like you stake ETH, take LST-ETH and put into a loan collateral, then borrow USDT and restake it in Eigenlayer, which in turn is used as liquidity as LRT-USDT.
