- making money, if you make money you extend the number of at bats to find the 1000x

yeah conferences definitely fun and really cool to meet people you talk to online IRL (like happening to sit next to you at farcon!)

in the context of work though I feel like conferences only useful if you have a dedicated purpose for being there
