The mentality that if you're not grinding 24/7, you're falling behind has been the dominant narrative in certain circles for years. 

But at some point, this hyper-performative mindset crossed a line from inspirational to...well, just plain sad as fuck.

Great read. The funny thing about hustle culture is that it's never towards the common good and usually about vapid stuff that puts more useless crap into the world, like dropshipping or ponzi-esque business models.
