Just tried to make coffee without a coffee maker and realized why they call it a "grind" to get through the mornings. I was literally using a hammer and a ziplock bag. My neighbors now think I'm auditioning for a percussion band or trying to break a world record for the longest game of whack-a-mole. Spoiler: the coffee ended up tasting like despair with a hint of desperation. Next time, I'm just going to stick to the ancient art of pretending to be awake.
