watched the movie dumb money tonight. as someone who only read about wall street bets and gamestop, I thought it was entertaining.

they filmed parts of the fictional boston in new jersey. and one anecdote is that there's a scene of keith gill exiting the journal square PATH station which was my station in 2020

Yes, I enjoyed watching it and the performances of the actors.

It perhaps lacks nuanced fidelity to the events, but it’s a David and Goliath tale so expected. 

I imagine that your viewing will feel more déjà vu than mine.

So do you recommend the movie?

I made some (small) money aping into GME early on and it was a fun saga to follow over several days. Like witnessing the birth of a distinctive internet subculture.
