if you had to guess: how much do you think you’d have to pay for all internet (youtube/twitter/IG/news etc) as an individual in exchange for no ads and everyone still makes the same amount of money?

Netflix is introducing an ad option that is 6.99/mo as opposed to its basic plan of 9.99/mo. Youtube charges 11.99/mo for ad-free videos + extra content. HBO charges 9.99/mo with ads and 14.99/mo w/o ads. The avg is 6.66/mo/platform w/o ads. However, the problem is the 'ad' value of an individual viewer is variable.

I'd love to read a breakdown of how companies value ads across the board. In a "fair" world, I imagine an individual's price for ad-free content would depend upon their income similar to tax brackets.
