one of the most underrated skills necessary for being a founder is to have a trained intuition. most people's natural intuition is quite bad, and so a learned response can be to use analysis as a replacement. since start ups live and die on speed & momentum, you must rely on intuition for a large portion of decisions

the latter half of this is to do things which continuously compound on previous work. it feels constraining, and progress can feel slow at each point in time, but if you can minimize the loss on compounding over years it becomes the basis for outsized impact. very hard resisting temptation to stray focus.
