At my first job I made some mistakes (naturally), and when I was told about them, I replied along the lines of "mistakes always happen, it's fine, I'll reverse back to the mean". Didn't go well 😬

And yet you were right Although some people perform according to their own normal distribution, which is overlaid on the left side of everyone else’s normal distribution, so their mean is a few standard distributions short of a Happy Meal
