@hamdi and I are participating in our first half iron man in the coming weeks but just learned we need a "Sports Medical Examination Certificate" in order to get our bib

Has anyone done an iron man sanctioned event and knows what this is / what qualifies?

Depends on the country I guess but in France it’s just a paper signed by a doctor telling that you have no health issues that could cause problems during the race. It’s very common, every doctor knows how to do it
