Zircuit: security at the sequencer level.

Zircuit TVL has passed $3.5B and is planned to be released in Q3-4 of 2024, but in the meantime I'd like to recap a presentation by team member Martin Derka on the new security concept that is initially being built into this L2.

Since Zircuit is being grown by auditors from Quantstamp, they used the following approach to provide security in the blockchain:

Oracle built by auditing company can investigate if a transaction that is planning to be included in the blockchain is malicious and if it is - it is quarantined and not included in the block.
