Poet, I’ve reviewed the token contract code thoroughly, and it’s a complete scam! I’m calling it a scam because the _validateTransfer function restricts regular wallets from transferring tokens unless the dexInitiated flag is activated. This means ordinary users could end up stuck with tokens they can’t sell, making it behave like a honeypot. Additionally, the minting mechanism in the initialize function allows for flexible supply issuance without clear limits, opening the door to potential inflation and manipulation. Either you have no idea how these things work, or you’re knowingly allowing people to get scammed out of their hard-earned money. Not based. Please delete this post!

Hello, founder of memecoin.new. Thanks for the feedback. Let me clarify how Memecoin.new works: The _validateTransfer function is part of a bonding curve. Until the memecoin hits $69,420, trades happen within this curve. Once that threshold is reached, liquidity is added to Uniswap, and it becomes freely traded and market-priced. Funds aren’t stuck; anyone can sell for a gain or loss based on the curve and get ETH back. It’s fair and transparent, not a honeypot. The initial supply is fixed—no inflation or manipulation can happen after launch. In good faith, here’s the link to our smart contracts: https://github.com/tribes-protocol/memecoin-contracts. We planned to open-source next week, but this is a good chance to show our commitment to being the most trusted memecoin launchpad on @Base. Hope this clears things up!
