I've never been to the highlands although my mum's side of the family left during the land clearances and were on the early ships to nz

oh wow! if you can you should absolutely come back one day. I’m Papuan Australian (so I also have Scottish ancestry who came on the early ships to Aus) and am now married to a Scottish person — it’s an incredibly beautiful country and culture
