Six months before the wedding, my parents gave me the money they had been saving for my wedding. The money didn't come in handy, we wanted to make the wedding modest and so we didn't spend the money. It's not a lot, but I'm still very grateful to my parents. I opened an account for myself, my stash just in case. At first I didn't want to tell my husband about it, but then I was in a good mood and blabbed.
In the end, I gave in to my husband's entreaties and gave him the money for business. He explained everything in detail, and I believed him. The business failed. No money.
