a friend who is deep into AI gave me an overview of everything that is happening and it feels like a completely different universe i'm barely aware of that is playing out at the same time

chatted with a vc about it. AI is an absolutely different planet, with huge dependency on big companies like OpenAI. Most devs are building on top of it, primarily for B2B, since almost every business, including giants, needs some sort of AI now. and there are not so many choices.
