Censorship resistance requires privacy.

Ugh that will be the death of it. Hosting services just need to offer a free tier for hobby and open source projects to compete. Not a fan of their AI pivot either.

Yeah, I share this sentiment.
That said I expect Walletbeat to grow beyond hobby project scale, so using a non-free hosting provider tier is to be expected.
