L2 channel would be beneficial for open and broader scaling discussions, cause any existing discussions gateway are mostly limited to native l2's tribalistic channels/groups

For me both makes sense, L2 could be a battleground for entertaining new ideas and one for each ecosystem will be a safe heaven for discussion about advancing the protocol. That is assuming both plays out as intended
