Can someone explain like I’m five why the phrase to be unburdened by what has been doesn’t make sense? Because that’s exactly the point of a statement like this?

Elon was the kid no one liked so he bought a social media platform in an attempt to be the cool guy he never was. This is his way of saying we're all the same, he's just like us...nope. 

Funny that he used the word "was" while there's still around 50 million people in the world enslaved today. Completely clueless.
