Why did OP Stack choose not to return the final (L1Data+L2Execution) gasLimit in `eth_estimateGas` JSON-RPC request like Arbitrum does? The downside is that it hurts the developer experience and the compatibility of most EVM SDKs and wallet integrations What's the upside upside that justifies it?

Will this approach really reduce ERC-4337 UserOp fees by ~35% to all /op-stack (e.g. /base) users, or am I missing something? @dcposch.eth

@dcposch.eth not to nitpick, but your commit actually saves 68 bytes and not just 4 bytes - that's a very nice extra ~20% reduction in raw tx size from 342 from to 274! Though due to them being mostly zeros, it translates into roughly an 8% reduction in calldata cost, but that's still considerable additional savings
