After watching the presidential debate, I think Biden really has some speech issues, but his thinking is clear, and not confused. I just checked, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump are the same age—oh my god! When Bill Clinton was president, that was in 1993! I just think maybe two younger candidates are what the U.S. needs.

Poetry Camera，It is essentially a 3D-printed camera body that houses a Raspberry Pi and a small printer typically used for printing receipts. I did some mapping work for Apple Intelligence Architecture. Its on-device small language model has 3 billion parameters. On the iPhone 15 Pro, the SLM can achieve a time-to-first-token latency of about 0.6 milliseconds per prompt token and a generation rate of 30 tokens per second.

我喜欢坐在咖啡馆发呆，一个原因是偶尔会有人把东西留在桌旁，自己去抽烟、打电话或去洗手间。看着桌上留下的各种物件，电脑、书、平板、耳机，就会有种幸福感。有次在日本路过一个社区操场，看到一群小朋友打闹掀起的阵阵烟尘。走进门口，路边倒着两辆自行车，车筐里的东西撒了一地，iPad、钱包、书包，还有一颗球。对人的信任是安全感的起点。

Saw this Joe Tsai interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8znIj2ML_Vo), and I'm so disappointed. There was no vision, no blueprint, no strategy. The core of their e-commerce and cloud business is just a copycat of Amazon, and their AI approach is just "I want everything," with no insight and no trade-offs.
