The right agent should be able to maximize taste/nutrition per $ spent. taking into account personal preferences, local availability, cooking difficulty (if not buying elsewhere) and a given nutritional goal. It’s a well established field but is a lot of manual work which is why it’s a great candidate for AI.

i think the local availability part is the most challenging part of this. much harder to find locally available sources for any given food item in most parts of the world... they dont have api's like walmart and target in the us to easily fetch and return stock. think at minimum you need some sort of curated set of websites for ais to search through for any given area. (could pay people to curate it based on how many times ai's or humans use/view)
