Tidal pays out the most, followed by Apple music. Tidal (and Soundcloud) are the only platforms that pay the artists you listen to directly, vs. all fees being pooled and distributed according to everyone's listening habits (meaning your money goes to Drake more likely than anyone else).

Where does Apple Music stand as a platform wrt paying musicians well?

I’ve purchased some albums from smaller artists on Bandcamp but for the sake of discovery it’s been tough uprooting from Spotify. Especially since it has lastfm compatibility.
