VR/AR/Spatial is really exciting because new interaction modes like teleoperation of robots for maids/construction/repairs. we have high quality tracking hardware and software for $400 (quest 2). Greatly simplifies building robotics software, like surgery bots but for a longer tail of uses that require less precision

Plus the path to reaching consumers can be gradual. First, businesses buy robots and use a trained operator, then amortize the HW cost through leasing programs ($10 remote cleaning). Similar to taxis & car ownership, most ppl took a taxi before they owned one. Eventually scale and UX make it cheap and easy to use
