$$bug brainstorm. There's potential, and opportunity ... but can I follow through to a point where it's actually a value add to the community and grows into something long term? - Focus the glitch clanker bug art coin rebrand, gather info, write narratives, put it together in a better webpage than the simple ok computer one. Webpage could have a glitch art link library, empire builder stuff, gallery of past art drops, art features, merch...? - glitch art periodical? zine? features? interviews? What would people like to see? miniapp? - would love to eventually curate a physical art show here in Olympia or possibly Tacoma or Seattle but I don't have the logistics for this currently. Don't have any local colaborators personally who are into NFTs but there is a small analog glitch art venue and other options in the local art scene here. - ideally commission others for curations, articles, micro-grant projects... but I'd need to develop revenue sources. So far people aren't into buying my glitchcam photo NFTs but I could think about more artistic fundraising ideas. Thoughts? Ideas?

I'd like to figure out how to use AI in some way that would help my life but so far I've just seen stuff that's interesting but not actually helpful.

I enjoy driving but often can't wait for the robots to take over driving because humans are generally not great at it.

I did miss that part, I thought the money was to pay for AI compute so I guess I don't understand the program then. If they are just giving money to nonprofits then what does it have to do with AI? Anyway nevermind my confusion lol

Well maybe I will try it sometime to understand because I don't see a problem with shave quality of disposables.

Yeah no worries I'm just thinking out loud :) I did read it. I'm unconvinced that any of those apps will actually help anyone out of poverty. There's already plenty of organizations doing those same things already. But maybe I'm just being stubborn idk.

Would love to hear a counterargument. How can AI help anyone get out of poverty? How can it help with housing or endless wars or any of the important things?

Would be curious to hear more about how this plan can actually help people but I feel like the key is that they want these AIs to help people do things as if them not doing those things is why poverty exists, but what if the AI says to solve this we need to take the hoarded wealth of the plutocrats and redistribute it to everyone?

These people have entirely lost their minds. They are incapable of helping solve these issues they are actively creating. Even their proposed "solutions" are literally just more problems (more VC funding nonsense, more money for the tech companies).

The arguments for better razors make sense but in practice I never saw a need, disposables are like $3 for a bag that lasts me a year.

The catch is instead of houses or food security or healthcare or other things people need for upward mobility (Socialism), these Oligarchs are just going to give people some useless computer shit. This is "Let them eat cake" moment x1000, and good luck to the ruling class who thinks this is useful and not good cause for revolution. They think poor people are just one small business venture away from class mobility because they can't admit capitalism forces the poverty to exist and keep growing, you can't get rid of it with more capitalism. They think AI is the path to prosperity because it works for them because they already have capital and the entire plutocracy working to benefit them like a safety net. Meanwhile the rest of humanity is sick of their lies and false promises. We need universal housing and healthcare, we need to redistribute resources, we need to end the wars and topple the ruling class. That will allow us to have the upward mobility impossible to gain through "AI philanthropy."
