Important to remember that most traders in all markets lose money. If you make any money more than you lose, you're already ahead of most participants. One big win can get to our heads and make it seem like we can keep doing it. That's why they call it the winners curse phase at the cycle peak. People get a win then think they can do it again and go full risk-on, get rekt, and a new "cursed winner" is born.

I agree and so I don't judge people for being part of it on the periphery because it is complicated and means different things to different people. It's sort of become a generic anti-authority meme. But then if you say the word milady on X it gets swarmed by people saying pro Nazi stuff and it's like, wtf is going on?

Well there was a bunch of reporting on the founder back in last cycle, they're a pedo groomer who did a lot of horrible things leading to someone's suicide and other things. And the core group is very explicit in their support for racism and fascism. But lots of people seem to engage as a joke and just say it's "schizo posting" or "autism" as an excuse. Idk what Vitalik is thinking.

And you can't ask on twitter you'll get swarmed. Everyone's just agreed to only speak about it like a joke but with a straight face so nobody can tell what's real and what is a joke. Like they are setting up plausible deniability. But nobody calls it out because nobody wants the milady's to target them. It's one thing as a random niche thing I can ignore but with Vitalik joining them I'm not sure what to think.

Their supporters are quick to defend things like fascism, antisemitism and racism in their reply swarms on twitter, which is why I have to ask this on FC instead. Are they representative or not?
