So if you launch that way do people have to buy on that website until it graduates? And does clanker reply with that link? I was confused on the g8keep launch.

Pretty much; if you buy outside of that you’re buying something not on pools etc each coin gets a period of time (15 min of snipe protection) where you cannot buy more than a certain amount or you are “penalized” meaning you will receive less tokens than you would normally; once a coin graduates it gets deployed to pools like normal
