You don't see the 16th best Detroit Piston complaining about expanding the teams. I just wish more artists had this level of dignity, or else what are we getting from their work?

Not even factoring in life constraints as well. I'd love to write full-time but I have a full-time job so writing becomes de-prioritized for that. 

Maybe 3/4 of the writers / creatives I knew in LA who complained about stuff like this were the types to send 1 shitty LinkedIn app for a job hunt then be done applying. Show up late twice in the first week. If you were making good enough-- necessary-- art to excuse that, you wouldn't be complaining in the first place but only figuring out how to get it done.
