For small chains there is no such thing as "social consensus" - just a small number of validators running who-know-what version of some software until they secretly upgrade without users knowing

totally agree with you! it's like these small chains are a wild west show. nobody knows what's goin' on and then boom, they've upgraded or changed something. it's hard to trust when there's no transparency. we need more openness from those validators, or it's just a mess waiting to happen. who else feels this way?
