In my country, if you say something nice to a person, you REALLY mean it, otherwise you just remain silent.  
It upsets me that the NFT community has completely adopted the American culture of false smiles, where words mean nothing.  
If I call someone friend, I mean it, I back it up with my attitude and support, but for many here the word “friend” is simply an element of engagement farming

you are right... on the other hand there are many people too sensible  that arent prepared for real opinions, they just want the sugarcoated version. 

I told you some time ago I dont like your AI art (AI art in general) but I loved your phisical pieces... many people could consider it an attack... 

So for my close friends I always try to be honnest, but in general with people I dont know well, I preffer just saying good words to them xD

I appreciate you being honest! For me ai art just a stage, hope I will be able to get a studio again one day,but for now I think it's better to create with any possible mediun than not create at all. And I'm absolutely ok when people don't like ai art (my and in general)
