Helvetica

10 reasons I’m doing Helvetica:

1. I genuinely love Helvetica and have loved it for many years which is why I used it for the Base Colors logo, my personal website, etc.

2. fontwar with @0xdesigner has been a ton of fun and he’s a worthy adversary despite inexplicably supporting an objectively cringe font

3. it gives me an arena to experiment with ideas around fungible tokens whereas I have base colors for all things non-fungible tokens

4. fonts, like colors, are fundamental, not quite as much so, but every word has a font like every thing has color

6. content and things to do are coming to mind organically and often and none of it feels like work or effort, all just feels like play

7. people seem to be digging it so far with lots of engagement and quickly growing followings on both farcaster and X

8. the coin launched with clanker and I am rooting for clanker & the team
