Realistically, given that most crypto companies and law firm practices are still relatively small, it’ll be hard to get a crypto job straight out of law school. Most places can’t train a fresh grad. But if they follow the below, they’ll be able to switch in 1-2 years: https://warpcast.com/ocosme.eth/0x432848d5

I first, second, & third use the tech if you’re trying to break into crypto law. The biggest edge crypto lawyers have is being able to understand the tech & market—allowing them to better solve problems for their clients clients—compared to other lawyers. Clients & employers also want to hire crypto natives.

I wrote a pretty robust overview of the SEC v Coinbase judgment on the pleadings opinion on Twitter. It’s too long to post in its entirely here on farcaster, but wanted to link to it in case anyone was interested in checking it out. https://x.com/orlando_btc/status/1773028589979713721?s=46&t=Z_E2H_JarnICkZe40I3IxQ

Even though it’s sold as a “productivity” tool, Notion lowkey but highkey just increases inefficiency.

On Twitter, it almost feels like the Ethereum ecosystem is relatively dying. On Farcaster, there’s a ton of excitement over what ppl are building on Ethereum. Here, the Ethereum ecosystem feels very alive, exciting, and almost new.

My suspicion is that a ton of people think Ethereum is “losing” this cycle (relatively) because proponents of other ecosystems have been louder and more proponent on CT. But a massive chunk of the ETH ecosystem isn’t even on Twitter anymore—they’re here on @farcaster I wouldn’t fade Ethereum here.

If you’re in crypto, you need to follow @cryptotaxguy.eth: always dropping some major alpha for one of crypto’s most complex, burdensome, and (mostly) unavoidable issues—taxes.

1. No 2. Yes 3. DEX Swap 4. Depends on what the frame is for. Most frames I’ve interacted with I’ve only done so bc they were so low effort.

Everyone’s back from ETHDenver, and what does that mean? Fundraise season Founders: check out this blog by @tokens (@bfaviero) & I about token warrants if you’re raising. Knowledge is power. (PS: PLEASE reach out to a lawyer *before* signing a term sheet)

This is part of the Pierce and Uyeda dissent in the ShapeShift settlement. You can read it in full (recommended) here: https://www.sec.gov/news/statement/peirce-uyeda-statement-a-crypto-world-turns-03-06-24

This may seem like a joke, but this is *actually* the flow of trying to “come in and register” with the SEC and be “in compliance” when dealing in crypto. It was written by 2/5 of the SEC's Commissioners. And that’s the problem: the SEC’s approach to crypto is literally a joke.
